I have to admit this is only my second time making fudge, and it came out so chocolaty, yummy and rich! My kiddies were like mama this is so good, you need to make this everyday. I was thinking oh no, you all will be bouncing off the walls. This was a wonderful treat for them, because I never make this kind of treat. The recipe is so easy and the ingredients you should already have in your pantry and fridge!
Fudge
2 Tbsp butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 2/3 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Combine butter, milk, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Beat for about 1 minute, or until mixture is thoroughly combined. Put aluminum foil in a 8X8 pan and pour mixture into pan and cool for about 15 minutes, then put in fridge for about 2 hours. Cut fudge into squares.

ReplyDeleteYes, I like this! You didn't put nuts in them. WIN! I like nuts but not in cakes, cookies or fudge! I'm a weirdo like that. Now sometimes I can tolerate nuts if they are on top of a cake or cookie but if they are inside the cake or cookie, forget about it!
